Accounts Payable Specialist
Responsibilities:
-
- Carrier invoice processing
- Vendor invoice processing
- Carrier/vendor inquires
- Carrier/vendor setup
- Intercompany accounts payable between related entities and monthly reconciliation.
- Monthly sales and use tax filing.
- Prepare and process weekly payables; up to and including check processing
- Ability to work independently.
- Annual 1099 information return preparation and filing.
- Participate in the month, quarter and year end financial statement close process.
Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years experience with concentration in accounts payable
- Background in transportation payables is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills – both internal and external customers.
- Accounting background preferable, but not necessary.
- Expected to be proficient in MS Excel.

Warehouse Manager
Position Summary:
Currently, we’re seeking a warehouse manager to oversee operations at our 100,000+ square foot warehouse in Florence, NJ. This skilled multitasker will manage the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities of the warehouse, ensuring that quality standards are met or exceeded. The warehouse manager must achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate order fulfillment, and track shipping times for our warehouse customers. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to manage multiple facets of warehouse operations simultaneously. This position is ideal for a highly motivated individual who is looking for a career opportunity with a national logistics company.
Job Description:
- Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency — with customer satisfaction the primary goal — by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals.
- Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, gate processes, and shipping methods.
- Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
- Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
- Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations.
Additional Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
- Schedule and oversee warehouse team and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
- Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary.
- Meet regularly with warehouse leads to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention.
- Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skill, Knowledge, and Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Five or more years of experience in a warehouse role managing hourly employees.
- Strong familiarity with AIB Food handling processes and product recall management.
- Experience with handling refrigerated and dry products.
- Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff.
- Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal.
- Availability to work extended hours.
Preferred Skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in logistics or supply chain management.
- Proficiency with “Extensive” WMS software.
- License to operate a forklift.

LTL Pricing Manager
Position Summary:
This position is ideal for a highly motivated individual who is looking for a career opportunity with a national logistics company. The primary responsibilities of this position are as follows
- Responsible for the development and implementation of pricing strategies for the company’s LTL logistics channels. This individual will interact with the management team, Asset based transportation team, purchased transportation team, and the sales team in the establishment and implementation of pricing and contract strategies. This position reports to the Director of Pricing and Billing.
- Serves as a brand and pricing lead by synthesizing customer, industry and competitive insights and intelligence to guide in developing channel pricing strategies.
- Ensures awareness of price as a key component of the marketing mix at the gross and net level. Effectively work with all key stakeholders to drive alignment on the pricing strategies and how they impact business.
- Leads discussions regarding pricing strategies with the management, operations and sales teams and other key stakeholders.
- Develops contract strategy and creates metrics to track pricing strategies and business impact. Proactively conducts competitive analysis and evaluates the changing marketplace and proactively make recommendations on pricing strategies and presents to Senior Management.
- Understands and articulates the impact of price changes on Gross to Net sales as well as potential impacts on customer spend.
- Act as a pricing strategy lead on customer contract negotiations and discussions. Support new business efforts as an expert providing pricing insights to deal analysis. Develop Innovative Pricing Strategies and monitor and measure their effectiveness.

- Return email and phone messages within 24 hours.
- Successfully complete all additional projects and duties assigned.
Skill, Knowledge, and Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, or other critical thinking major or at least 5 years of equivalent experience required.
- 10 or more years of work experience in the transportation and logistics industry is required.
- Experience in pricing or contracting or account management preferred.
- Ability to lead others collaboratively required; this includes sales/account management, brand management and other key stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of various logistics models and customer structures preferred. Strong financial or marketing background preferred.
- Ability to influence teams without direct authority is required.
- This position is based in Florence, NJ and may require some limited travel.
- The ability to develop internal/external collaborations and build positive, constructive relationships across all levels and disciplines is required
- Ability to learn and absorb new information quickly and use that information to develop and implement effective strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and phone skills required.
- Effective internet skills.
- Computer literacy required. Working knowledge of outlook, excel, and word. Ability to learn and utilize additional software programs.
- Effective organizational, follow through, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
