Account Manager - Chicago

Position: Account Manager

Position Summary:

The Pinnacle Team is searching for a highly motivated and well-spoken account manager to join our brokerage team. This role will be responsible for prospecting, pipeline management, new account generation, driving revenue and gross profit growth year over year. Company KPIs and daily expectations will be outlined for this role. 

To be successful as an Account Manager you should be persistent, an excellent communicator, competitive, goal-oriented, and have a desire for continued learning.

Job Description:

  • Develop and manage prospect pipeline within CRM.
  • Qualify Client Needs, and sell Pinnacle Value
  • Pricing & Negotiating Freight cost across all Domestic modes (LTL, PTL, TL, Expedited)
  • Load Details Entry in TMS
  • Providing timely Track and Trace for all customer shipments.
  • Approval for Customer & Carrier Invoicing 
  • Responsible for Client QBRs (Sharing client metrics, market trends, company technology updates, and industry challenges)
  • Cross Team Collaboration
  • Ability to exceed company KPIs and Growth Targets

Skills, Knowledge, and Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)
  • Detail Oriented and Goal Driven
  • Excel in Time Management & Organizational skills
  • Self-Motivated & Ability to Multitask.
  • Desire for Continued Education
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation:

  • Base Salary + Commission
