PINNACLE FREIGHT SYSTEMS, INC has been named one of New Jersey’s 2013 50 Fastest Growing Companies.  The award program produced by NJBIZ, New Jersey’s premiere business news publication, is presented by ParenteBeard, LLC and sponsored by Archer & Greiner PC, Comcast Business, Mass Mutual, M&T Bank, and UnitedHealthcare.

The NJBIZ 50 Fastest Growing Companies awards program celebrates New Jersey’s most dynamic companies who progressively contribute to the success of the state’s economic growth and stability.  To qualify, companies had to meet selection criteria that included a revenue size of at least $500,000 within the past two out of three years and growth in revenue over a three year period, dating from fiscal year 2010 to 2012.

July 19, 2013 (Edison, NJ)  Pinnacle Freight Systems of Edison, New Jersey has released the results of a 24-hour temperature mapping study performed on June 13-14, 2013, by the Quality Management unit of Cryopak, the industry leader in cold chain packaging solutions.

Eighteen ThermoProfile temperature data loggers were used to record and verify the temperature distribution inside Pinnacle Freight’s refrigerated trailers (Great Dane Thermo King, models SB-230 and SB-210+, equipped with Smart Reefer SR-3 controllers).

Thermal mapped at both 2 – 8 degrees Celsius and 15 – 25 degrees Celsius, the Pinnacle trailers exceeded the temperature maintenance and distribution standards guaranteed by the company. In the 2-8 degree study, the lowest temperature recorded was 3.7 degrees Celsius and the high temperature was 6.1. In the 15-25 degree study, the minimum and maximum temperatures recorded during the 24 hours were respectively 18 degrees Celsius and 21.1 degrees Celsius.

July 5, 2013 (Edison, NJ)  Pinnacle Freight Systems of Edison, New Jersey is pleased to announce the addition to two new employees to its core staff: Janet Paladino as Safety Administrator, and Tony Migliore as Load Planner/Operations.

Janet Paladino comes to Pinnacle from Safeway Transportation, where she successfully managed a number of safety audits. She is continually updating her safety credentials through online and live seminars in areas including drug and alcohol training, road driver D.O.T. logbook training, and OSHA training. Paladino is currently engaged in the rigorous process of becoming C-TPAT certified (U.S. Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism), which will offer Pinnacle’s customers the highest possible level of cargo security.

Industry veteran Tony Migliore specializes in load planning for both city and over the road operations, bringing more than 25 years’ transportation management experience to Pinnacle Freight. Edison, NJ-based trucking company sends tractor trailer on cross-country mission to bring major food donation to Jersey City residents hit hard by the hurricane

November 21, 2012 – Edison, NJ — Pinnacle Freights Systems of Edison, New Jersey, has proven once again that the phrase “We go the extra mile” is more than just a motto.

When KeHE Distributors of Romeoville, Illinois, promised the nearby world headquarters of Lutheran Church Charities (LCC) to get a donation of more than $30,000 worth of non-perishable foods delivered to Tumaini Kristo Lutheran Church in Jersey City, New Jersey last week, they called on Pinnacle to make it happen. “We knew we could count on the team at Pinnacle Freight to come through,” said Randy Shaw of KeHE Cares, “even though they were still recovering from the storm themselves.”
